Updated: 11:35am – The 34-year-old man who is alleged to have murdered his 34-year-old wife in their home in Somosomo, Taveuni on Sunday has been charged with one count of murder.
The accused will be escorted from Taveuni later today and will be produced at the Labasa Magistrates Court.

Police had earlier stated that the man was alleged to have stabbed his wife at their home in Taveuni where the victim was rushed to the Taveuni Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
