Updated: 7:20am – A 42-year-old man charged with the rape of his 14-year-old daughter has been remanded by Labasa Magistrate Senileba Levaci.
The man is charged with one count of rape and it is alleged that he raped his daughter in a settlement in Labasa on 31st December last year.

The matter has been transferred to the Labasa High Court and it will be called on the 4th of next month.
The matter was referred to Labasa Police by the Health authorities after she was found to be five months pregnant.
