Updated: 7:00am – Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Gareth Baber says he sees great talent in Sevuloni Mocenacagi despite people writing him off in some tournaments in the past.

Mocenacagi will definitely be one of the key players for Fiji in the Commonwealth 7s in Gold Coast this weekend.

Baber revealed that he had to work hard to get things right for Mocenacagi.

Baber believes that Mocenacagi continues to grow.

Mocenacagi was rested in the Hong Kong 7s last weekend. He has been Fiji’s main weapon in line breaks and his defensive efforts have also been recognized in past tournaments.

Fiji will play Sri Lanka at 1.21pm Saturday in their first game, they will then meet Uganda at 7.53pm on Saturday in their second pool match before facing Wales at 11.33pm in their last pool game.

There will be no quarterfinals as the top four teams will go straight to the semifinals at 1.43pm Sunday and the Commonwealth 7s final will kick off at 5.04pm Sunday.
