A 28-year-old farmer from Kadavu has been charged with one count of murder following the death of this pregnant partner on Friday last week.
Police confirm that the suspect is scheduled to be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court today.

It is alleged that the accused was intoxicated when he assaulted his pregnant 23-year-old partner in their home in Nasese, Suva.
The victim was rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
A post-mortem to ascertain the cause of the death of the victim was finalized yesterday.
