The Ba team was taught a football lesson going down to Team Wellington 8-nil in the OFC Champions League last night.

The Men in Black needed a win to qualify for the semi-final.

The local champions were humiliated in the match which they failed to provide any challenge.

The Fijian team trailed 3-nil at half time.

Meanwhile, the Rewa side drew its second match 1-all with Western United from the Solomon Islands on the New Zealand tour yesterday.

The side plays Franklin United in its third match tomorrow.

The Delta Tigers open its OFC Champions League campaign against Marist FC next Sunday.

On the local scene, Dreketi defeated Rakiraki 3-2 in the Vodafone Premier League yesterday while Labasa and Nadi played to a 2-all draw.

In matches today, Dreketi plays Nadi at 1pm, while Labasa takes on Rakiraki at 3pm. Both games at Subrail Park.

Also Roy Krishna scored a goal for Wellington Phoenix last night as the side drew 3-all with Perth Glory in the A League.
