Updated: 6:05am – A three bedroom concrete, corrugated iron and partially timber structured house was destroyed in a fire at Tavarua in Ba early morning yesterday.
The National Fire Authority attended to the site and were able to prevent the fire from spreading to two other houses that were just meters away.

NFA Lautoka confirmed that they received the call at around 11.01am but despite efforts by NFA Lautoka and Ba they were not able to save the house.
NFA investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.
