Madigi’s son to make debut for Ba against Labasa Today

Updated: 7:42am – Former Fiji and Ba soccer great, Kini Mocelutu passed away last year but his name will again get prominent in local soccer as his namesake is ready to carry the legacy to another level for the Men in Black.

Former Ba striker Ravuama Madigi’s son, 19-year-old Kini Mocelutu is all set to debut for Ba tomorrow against Labasa in the Vodafone Premier League.

Madigi named his youngest son after Kini Mocelutu.

Mocelutu has been training with Ba and is expected to wear the black jersey for the first time today.

He’s a striker and according to sources within the Ba camp, Mocelutu has the versatility to play at left and as well as right strikers position.

Ba will face Labasa at 1.30pm today at Subrail Park.
