Man dies in Nasole accident | NZ FIJI TIMES

UPDATED: 10:11am – A 60-year old Bangladeshi national who was hit by a rental car in Nasole Nasinu yesterday morning died at the CWM hospital late yesterday afternoon.

FBC news was reliably informed by a close family member that the man passed away yesterday afternoon while the other victim, a 34-year-old school teacher remains admitted at the CWM hospital.

The accident occurred at around six –thirty yesterday morning as the two men including the deceased were making their way from the Nasole Mosque.

The deceased was also allegedly dragged three meters away from where they were initially hit before he was robbed

Police have confirmed a 24-year-old suspect has been arrested and remains in custody at the Valelevu Police station.
