Updated: 6:53am – A man dropped off at Tauranga Hospital yesterday with critical injuries has died.
A police spokesman said the man was left at the emergency department at about 12.20pm in a critical condition.

The man was being treated by hospital staff when he died a short time later.
No other details are available from police at this stage.
“Police are working to establish how the man sustained the injuries and are making a number of inquiries in the area,” said the spokesperson.
