Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Coach Gareth Baber says it will come down to one game to determine their fate in the HSBC World 7s series. Fiji needs to finish ahead of USA in the Paris 7s to claim their fourth HSBC World 7s series title.

USA 7s Coach, Mike Friday says this tournament is crucial for them. USA has never won the World Sevens Series title. They won the Las Vegas 7s this season. Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Captain Paula Dranisinukula says they have always played for the country.

USA Captain Madison Hughes says they believe they can win the  World Series Sevens title this weekend.

Baber has made one change to the team for the Paris 7s. Napolioni Bolaca who made his debut for Fiji in the Singapore 7s   replaces Livai Ikanikoda. Isoa Tabu has been listed as the 13th player. The side will be led by captain Paula Drainisinukula.

It also features Jerry Tuwai, Alasio Naduva, Aminiasi Tuimaba, Meli Derenalagi, Josua Vakurunabili, Asaeli Tuivoka, Sevuloni Moceinacagi, Waisea Nacuqu, Apenisa Cakaubalavu and Vilimoni Botitu.

Fiji needs to finish ahead of USA in Paris this weekend to claim their fourth HSBC World Sevens 7s series title. Fiji will take on England in their first pool match at 10.50pm today, they will take on Argentina at 2.16am tomorrow and take on Ireland at 5.42am tomorrow in their last pool match.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 9.28pm tomorrow, Cup semifinals will start at 1.23am Monday and the Cup final will be played at 4.33am Monday.

Barring any upsets, Fiji is likely to meet Scotland or France in the quarter final, they are likely to take on USA or South Africa in the semifinal, and New Zealand or Australia in the final.
