Updated: 12:47pm – As we approach on the third day of the Eid Cup Finals, a lot is happening in the fields. Matches kicked off at 9am in all the three grounds.
First game between Otahuhu and Papatotoe ended with the score line 0 -2. Great defence showed by team Papatoetoe.
Airport and Lynfied match was full of happenings. Second half ended with Airport 3- 0 Lynfied. Outstanding performance and team work by both teams.
Waikato took on Onehunga. Good strength shown by both teams but end of second half score was Waikato 4 – 0 Onehunga.
Botany played against Takanini and after a strong play shown by both teams, Botany came out victorius with score of 4 -0 Takanini.
The tackle between Kaleston and Avondale was a sight to watch. So much energy shown by both teams. Great defence and team effort and at the end of second half score score remained nil all.
The weather is lovely and fans have come out in numbers to support their teams. Expectation and excitement continues as the games approach to finals.
