A sudden death in West Auckland has caused concern among residents of a semi-rural road. Police are investigating the incident, which occurred at around 7:50 am on Tuesday.
A crime scene has been established on Simpson Rd in Rānui, and emergency services have responded. As of midday, the death is being treated as unexplained, and a scene examination is being carried out at the property.
A woman living next door reported that her son heard screaming and informed her. She went outside to check and heard a car running after the screaming stopped. The circumstances surrounding the death are currently considered unexplained.
