The Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation has been allocated a budget of $68.8 million.
This includes a $44 million grant for Tourism Fiji, $13.6 million for the Fiji Tourism Development Program in Vanua Levu, and a Pilot Tourism MSME Fund to support and empower MSMEs.
The fund aims to assist rural communities with up to $15,000. This strategic allocation reflects the Ministry’s commitment to bolstering the tourism sector and ensuring sustainable growth, particularly in rural areas.
