A 22-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a 10-month-old baby in Te Kūiti.
The baby died unconscious in June. The man appeared in Hamilton High Court and is remanded in custody until the trial, which is set for February 2026.
Interim name suppression for the defendant continues until a hearing on 30 July.
