In June 2024, a total of 15 individuals faced 32 charges related to sexual offenses. The offenses included a 15-year-old boy raping a 5-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy raping a 12-year-old boy.
Two of the accused individuals were juveniles. There were 15 victims, 10 of whom were under 18 years old, with one male and 14 females.
Additionally, six incidents involved victims and accused individuals who were related to each other.
The accused ranged in age from 11 to 59 and included men and women. In some cases, charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence, difficulty contacting or locating victims, and the death of an accused person.
Aside from the rape charges, incidents involved individuals aged 11 to 38. Again, some cases were discontinued due to insufficient evidence, challenges in contacting victims, and the death of an accused person.
Overall, these statistics point to a troubling pattern of sexual offenses in the area.
