Six people have been arrested after shipments of equipment from British Columbia were confiscated at a warehouse in Nadi, Fiji.
The confiscation was part of a coordinated operation involving the Fiji Police Force and Fiji Revenue and Customs Service.
This action is significant as it demonstrates the commitment to combating illegal drugs in all their forms, including possession, cultivation, importation, and manufacturing.
Task forces from the Western and Eastern Divisions, K9 units, and the Fiji Detector Dog Unit carried out the confiscation.
The investigation is now focusing on the possibility of manufacturing, as the substances found in several containers were known medications and precursors.
