During a family harm incident at a liquor store in Epsom, Auckland, a police officer and a man they were arresting fell through a glass window around 7:20 pm.
Both officers sustained moderate lacerations and received treatment.
Police responded to the scene, and the man is now in custody, with inquiries ongoing.
Support agencies were involved, and one ambulance and a rapid response unit were called to the scene.
Two people, including the man in custody, were taken to Auckland Hospital in moderate condition.
