Lionsgate is set to release a new TV series, “John Wick: Under the High Table,” which will be executive-produced by Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski.
The series will continue the story from “John Wick: Chapter 4” and will be directed by Chad Stahelski, who has signed a deal with Lionsgate to oversee the creative direction of the franchise.
Stahelski will also direct the pilot episode. The series will introduce familiar faces and new characters, following the successful strategy used in the prequel limited series “The Continental: From the World of John Wick.”
Keanu Reeves will not reprise his iconic role in the series, but his involvement as an executive producer ensures his creative influence.
Lionsgate is also working on a spin-off film centered around Donnie Yen’s character, Caine, and another film titled “Ballerina,” which is set between the third and fourth John Wick movies.
Additionally, a fifth John Wick film is currently in development.
