Johnstaff International Development, a renowned leader in healthcare development, in partnership with GHD, Silver Thomas Hanley, and International SOS Australasia, all esteemed in their respective fields, has been awarded a contract to design a master plan for the CWM Hospital in Suva.
Their combined expertise and experience ensure a successful and impactful project.
The Australian government is investing $14.7 million to develop a plan to outline the country’s future health needs and the infrastructure required for a high-quality national referral hospital.
The plan will also involve an urgent and detailed engineering assessment of existing hospital buildings to ensure the hospital can continue serving Fiji’s people.
Minister for Health Dr. Atonio Lalabalavu expressed gratitude for the development of the CWM Hospital, stating that it is a blueprint for the current hospital’s infrastructure, assessment, and plans.
The CWM Hospital is the largest in the country and serves most patients from around the country.
This partnership signifies a significant milestone in Fiji’s healthcare system, promising advanced infrastructure and improved healthcare services for all Fijians.
