A South Auckland 24/7 dairy owner, Priyesh Dharia, has been left feeling “helpless” and “scared” after two robberies in a week.
Police alerted him to the latest robbery this morning. Despite installing fog cannons and panic alarms, the robbers continued to enter and break in.
The robbers targeted the till, cigarettes, and vapes, and Dharia said his workers were also feeling “scared.”
He wanted to stand firm and keep the shop open 24/7. Police responded to a robbery at a commercial premises on Dawson Rd, and inquiries are ongoing to locate those involved.
There were also reported burglaries at a Dawson Rd commercial premises on Monday.
