Four people were injured in a two-car crash near Matamata, Waikato, this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Waharoa Rd East at 1:40 p.m.
One person was airlifted to Waikato Hospital in serious condition. Two others were transported to Waikato Hospital via ambulance.
A fourth person was taken to Matamata Medical Centre in moderate condition. The road is blocked, and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
