Last month, three out of four recorded suicide cases were all school students. There are concerns about the mental well-being of students in school.

Shockingly, the youngest victim of suicide in Fiji was a 7-year-old child. Statistics from a Lifeline Fiji event at the end of last year were shocking.

Statistics showed that a Fijian citizen attempts to take their own life every 36 hours. This highlights the magnitude of the challenge faced.

Police are urging anyone facing difficulties to reach out and talk to someone who can help them.
