Deputy Commissioner of Police Sakeo Raikaci has revealed that some parents are using children for drugs.
He stated that these children from primary or secondary schools sell drugs or transport them to other areas.
He urges parents and guardians not to humiliate their children by giving them drugs to peddle, as they are the future of the country.
Raikaci says that people are arrested daily for possession of drugs, and drugs do not discriminate between age or race.
He also urges parents and guardians to take their responsibilities seriously.
Police have witnessed a high number of minors dying in recent months due to their involvement in road accidents and other fatalities.
Police teams are conducting visitations in communities, villages, and schools to highlight the importance of parental responsibilities.
