A woman in Christchurch has been arrested following an alleged retail crime spree. She stole around $400 worth of chocolate.
The 46-year-old has three warrants for her arrest on 18 active charges. A total of 64 charges have been laid against her, 40 of which are burglaries.
Police have issued trespass notices since April, acknowledging the strain this type of offending puts on businesses.
They encourage retailers to continue reporting suspicious activity. The woman will appear in the Christchurch District Court later this month.
