The Electoral Commission has alluded an individual to police after they professed to have casted a ballot on different occasions.

It is an offense under segment 215 of the Electoral Act 1993 to cast a ballot more than once.

The commission won’t remark further in light of the fact that the issue is before police.

After the last political decision, the commission alluded 37 individuals who seemed to have casted a ballot more than once to police.

The punishment for being seen as liable of casting a ballot more than once – thought about a degenerate practice under the Electoral Act – is as long as two years in jail or a fine of up to $40,000.
