A 25-year-old man has been arrested after a stash of cannabis worth around $1.2 million was found. The cannabis was in a storage unit in East Auckland.
The Mt Wellington Public Safety Team searched the unit, and 63kg of packaged cannabis was discovered.
The man was arrested at the scene and is expected to appear in the Auckland District Court today.
Police continue to disrupt and prosecute groups involved in manufacturing and distributing illicit substances.Further inquiries are being carried out.
