Following the first film’s success, Rakul Preet Singh will reprise her role as Ayesha Khurana in the upcoming sequel, De De Pyaar De 2.
Ajay Devgn is expected to start work on the Akiv Ali romantic comedy after kick-starting the Son of Sardaar 2 shoot.
The original film, featuring Tabu and Jimmy Sheirgill, was a significant commercial success, setting the stage for an exciting sequel.
Many loved the film’s on-screen pairing in the first De De Pyaar De. Rakul will represent Ayesha and Ajay’s role as the middle-aged Ashish, creating fun and engaging chemistry.
The production team is preparing for a 45-50-day schedule in Punjab. Ajay Devgn will join after his Son of Sardar 2 schedule in the United Kingdom.
The sequel introduces R. Madhavan as Rakul’s father. It will be a promising and engaging battle of wits between him and Ajay’s character, Ashish.
De De Pyaar De 2 is slated for release in summer 2025.
