Updated: 11:10pm – The three assessors in the trial of a 65-year-old man charged with one count of rape and two counts of sexual assault have returned with a majority guilty opinion.
High Court Judge Justice Vinsent Perera summed up the case earlier this afternoon.

The man is alleged to have raped and sexually assaulted his 7‑year‑old granddaughter between 2012 and 2014 in Nasinu.
He has been remanded in custody.
Justice Vincent Perera will deliver judgement tomorrow.
