Bainimarama says Nawaikula is making a mockery of himself

Executive and iTaukei Land Trust Board Chair Voreqe Bainimarama have hit out at Opposition MP Niko Nawaikula who in an online media post guaranteed that local land is not, at this point safe.

Talking on the Radio Fiji One’s Noda Prime Minister program, Bainimarama says Nawaikula is making a joke of himself and his resistance partners over unsubstantiated data that is making a great deal of disarray among Fijians.

The Facebook post on the seventh of this current month Nawaikula cautioned Fijians about the public authority impedance in the undertakings of iTaukei Land Trust Board and the Lau Provincial Council.

He re-asserts that the profile of all freehold and crown land-proprietors in the nation is defended under the 1970, 1990, 1997, and 2013 constitutions.

“TLTB Board individuals comprise of five experienced faculty who are knowledgeable with the tasks of the element. These five board individuals were severely chosen and dependent on the public’s conviction. That is the reason we have nullified the GCC on the grounds that there is no compelling reason to have a delegate from the Council to regulate land undertakings.”

Nawaikula claims that the monetary status of different land organizations is in an in-between state.
