Updated: 9:55pm – A man has died in Hamilton after being assaulted.
Police received a report that a man had been assaulted by someone known to him in the suburb of Forest Lake at 6.45pm today.
They say he died soon afterward.
Police are speaking to a number of people in their investigation.
