Updated: 6:34am – Carmine Piantedosi has resigned as the CEO of Land Transport Authority.
In a statement issued by LTA Chairman Vijay Maharaj, he says the resignation is with immediate effect due to personal and family reasons.

Piantedosi is expected to leave for Australia soon.
He had just taken up the position in April this year
The LTA will announce an Acting CEO in due course.
