Updated: 11:10am – The finals of the 200m, 4x100m, 4x400m, 400m, 800m and other field events will take place at the RKS Athletics Interhouse at the RKS school grounds.
Cakau House claimed gold in all the grades of the 100 metres final yesterday.
Jeke Gade won the Senior Boys 100m final with a manual time of 11.42 seconds, Timoci Tuimavana of Ma’afu House clocked a time of 12.02s to finish second, while Alfred Turner of Ma’afu House finished third with a time of 12.17 seconds.
After day one, Ma’afu House is leading with 3 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze, Sukuna House is second with 3 gold and 3 silver, Cakau House is third with 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze while Degei House is fourth place with 2 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze.
Meanwhile, in the Gospel High School Athletics Interhouse, St John House dominated the girls and boys divisions as they won the overall title with 34 gold, 22 silver and 18 bronze at the ANZ Stadium.
St Matthew House settled for second place with 22 gold, 23 silver and 14 bronze, St Luke House finished in third place with 10 gold, 18 silver and 25 bronze while St Mark finished in fourth place with 15 gold, 25 silver and 14 bronze.
Meanwhile, the Marist Interhouse will start at 8 this morning at the ANZ Stadium.
Augustine is the defending champion. They have been winning for the last four years.
Keasi Naidroka and Joseva Tabakaucoro will be representing Augustine House in the Senior Boys 100 metres and 4×100 metres.
Waisea Naikavu of Augustine House and Viliame Rokotilako of Alphonsus will be competing in the Intermediate boys 200 metres race today.
