All you have to do is encourage them to pursue the area of study that they like doing the best.

Those were the words of Attorney General and Minister for Education Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum when he spoke at Nukuloa Sanatan Dharam Primary School’s Annual Prize Giving ceremony.

Sayed-Khaiyum says one of the areas the government is concerned about is the level of English in Fiji.

He thanked the parents and told them to keep encouraging their children to do well and to attend school.

Sayed-Khaiyum says it is only through parents’ encouragement that children will be able to read and study a bit more when they come home from school.
