Investors say Nalagi Hotel, as its being named, has some features that sets it apart from the rest. This includes their roof-top swimming pool, six meeting rooms to cater for conventions and conferences, two restaurants, a Spa and a gym.

Company General Manager Assistant Lu Wang says they chose to invest in Fiji mainly because they see the enormous potential that exists in the Tourism Sector.

“Tourism is booming in Fiji these last few years like tourists coming into Fiji is increasing annually and this hotel will be the highest building in the West. We also plan to build one 5 star resort here and we also have commercial land. In our mind we also want to do one marina for a Pacific Harbour project.”

Although there has been little to no movement on the ground over the last two of months, the company assures that the work is on schedule and hopes to have this work completed by the end of this year.
