Airports Fiji Limited has confirmed that the extension of the Nausori International Airport will take place next year.
AFL Executive Chairman Faiz Khan says work at the Nausori International Airport will include refurbishing the terminal, new entry and exit gates for passengers and the extension of its runaway.

_”Together with the runaway expansion comes the terminal upgrades as well, actually it will a completely brand new terminal. The current terminal in Nausori is very old. You will noticed that the flights do not have gates similar to Nadi.”
Khan says AFL is working on completing the expansion of the Nausori runaway before the end of next year, and complete the terminal facelift soon after.
