Update: 10:15am – The Fiji Football Association has revealed that Labasa’s Subrail Park is not up to the standard of hosting the semi-finals of any local tournaments.

Fiji FA CEO Mohammed Yusuf says there were many aspects were taken in consideration before the Board of Control reached the decision.

“We were disappointed that when we landed in Labasa not much was done to the ground in fact we organized the fire trucks to water the ground on Thursday. Not expertly we had a sold out three days we had a lot of tickets that were unsold but we are happy with whatever they support they gave.”

The first semi-final between Rewa and Labasa will be played on Friday at 7.30pm at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park and in the second semi-final at Churchill Park on Saturday, Lautoka plays Labasa at 2.30pm.

The final will be played on Sunday at the same time in Lautoka.
