He says similarly as with past outskirt isolate cases, these four new cases were under severe fringe isolate conditions from the time the trip into Nadi landed.

This incorporates entering obligatory 14-day isolate at an administration assigned isolate office directed by the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.

They are all in stable condition and have been moved to the separation unit at Lautoka medical clinic as per the standard convention for affirmed cases.

Dr. Fong says with these new cases there are currently seven dynamic outskirt isolate cases.

He adds that as long as our outskirt isolate and segregation unit disease avoidance control conventions are maintained, there is no danger to the Fijian public from these new fringe isolate cases.

Dr. Fong further says that now at 226 days without a nearby instance of COVID-19 in the networks, they proceed to help and compliment bleeding edge fringe and seclusion unit staff as they shield Fiji from the pandemic.
