Fiji loses to England in Bronze final, South Africa wins Dubai 7s title

Updated: 7:17am – The Fiji Airways Men’s 7s team lost to England 28-21 in the Bronze final of the Dubai 7s.

Amenoni Nasilasila and Vatemo Ravouvou scored 2 tries for Fiji in the first half as the halftime score read 21-14 in favour of England.

England started off the second half strongly and scored a try to make it 28-14.

Replacement Josua Vakurunabili struck back for Fiji’s only try in the second half to take the score to 28-21.

The Jerry Tuwai captained side went down to South Africa 12-7 in the Cup semifinal.

Meanwhile, South Africa won the Dubai 7s title after beating New Zealand 24-12 in the final.
