Fiji: More than six hundred thousand people registered for elections

The Fiji Elections Office has already registered more than six hundred thousand voters as of last month.

Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem told FBC News they are now registering voters in the Pacific.

“The total number of registered voters as of first of March is six hundred and three thousand. We are now registering voters in Pacific Island countries and we’re getting a good response from these voters in these countries and we will be releasing some statistics soon.”

Meanwhile, Fijians who want to update information on their old voter card can now replace it with an upgraded version as the registration process for the 2018 General Elections continues
