The new fuel costs are presently as a result.
The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission yesterday decided the new directed costs of Unleaded Petrol, Premix, Kerosene, Diesel and Liquid Petroleum Gas for July.
FCCC General Manager Operations, Senikavika Jiuta says Fiji is straightforwardly affected by world market costs for both refined oils and LPG. Engine Spirit from $1.66 to $1.84 per liter, an expansion of 18 pennies for each liter; Premix from $1.29 to $1.47 per liter, an increment of 18 pennies for every liter; Kerosene value continues as before as $0.91 per liter; and Diesel from $1.54 to $1.52 per liter, a diminishing of 2 pennies for each liter.”
Jiuta says there’s an expansion in all cases for all LPG items.
“4.5kg Cylinder from $11.03 to $11.86, an expansion of 83 pennies for every 4.5kg Cylinder; 12kg Cylinder from $29.41 to $31.64, an increment of $2.23 per 12kg Cylinder; 13kg Cylinder from $31.86 to $34.28, an increment of $2.42 per 13kg Cylinder; Bulk Gas from $2.026 to $2.16, an expansion of 13 pennies for every kg; and Autogas from $1.36 to $1.45, an increment of 9 pennies for each liter.”
The FCCC will lead the following fuel and LPG value audit on first August.
