The Lautoka man who was discovered escaping clinical experts in Kashmir with ongoing travel history has been freed from COVID-19.

Head administrator Voreqe Bainimarama says this currently implies all limitations in Lautoka are lifted.

“In spite of his untrustworthy conduct, which will in any case be examined, he was among the 24 tests the previous evening that returned negative – which means the entirety of the Lautoka limited zone currently has the opportunity to move into and out of the territory, including the Kashmir region”.

The Fijian national was found by fever-screening groups and had gone from Uruguay before carrying his way into the Lautoka kept zone.

Bainimarama says his movement history, matched with a fever and different manifestations, raised genuine warnings, and imperiled the lifting of limitations.
