More than 140 lodgings and properties have indicated enthusiasm for working with Fiji Airways to think of a recuperation bundle and help revive the travel industry.

The administration has declared that it will be working through Fiji Airways to furnish the initial 150,000 guests with a once in a blue moon travel allowance of around $400 per traveler to go towards the travel industry bundles including flights, inns, suppers and refreshments.

Economy Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says the Recovery Rebate Package plans to fill lodgings by making alluring bundles to securely get away from the pandemic.

“These advantages have been set up on the grounds that there are long haul vital reasoning. We have sliced takeoff charge by $100. We have said we dispensing $60m to Fiji Airways so they can think of bundles.”

Sayed-Khaiyum says the travel industry contributes 40 percent to the nation’s GDP.
