A 19-year-old student alleged to have stolen FSLC exam papers was produced at the Nausori Magistrates Court yesterday.
Police say the accused was charged with burglary and theft. He pleaded guilty and waived his right to counsel.
He was remanded and his case will be called again today for sentencing.
The incident occurred after Nausori Police station received a report on Tuesday in relation to the allegation which resulted from a break-in at Lelean Memorial School.
Police say the exam supervisor made the discovery on Tuesday morning and found some of the sealed portions of the exam papers were already open.
The Education Ministry says, the Year 12 exams at Lelean will continue as scheduled and with Police investigating, they are not in a position to comment.
