Weightlifting Fiji will be hosting a Fiji Day weightlifting championships at the Rabuka Gym today.
Weightlifting Fiji has continued training and having regular interclub competitions prior to this tournament ahead of the Pacific Cup National Trials and the Pacific Cup in New Caledonia.

The federation says they have several upcoming international competitions such as the Oceania, Commonwealth Championships, World Junior Championships, Senior World Championships, World Youth Championships and the World Cup.
Weightlifting Fiji has this year officially registered 5 new weightlifting Centers/ Clubs with the latest to be included this month will be the Namosi Weightlifting Club.
