The police have identified a 38-year-old man from Nabua, Suva, who was found floating in the Rewa River last week. The victim’s brother provided the identification.
The body was brought to the riverbank on a bamboo raft. Police are awaiting post-mortem results before classifying the death. The investigation is ongoing.
