A one-year-old child died in a midday accident in Naitonitoni, Navua.
Meanwhile, police are investigating another accident along Wailoaloa Road in Nadi, where two passengers died and three others were seriously injured.
The incident occurred in a twin cab driven by a 30-year-old from Lovu in Lautoka.
All occupants were intoxicated, and the driver was allegedly speeding. The police incident occurred is ongoing in both cases.
