A Fiji police officer has been charged with sexual assault and rape of a minor, allegedly occurring between 2019 and 2023.
The officer, a relative of the victim, is facing nine counts of sexual assault, three counts of rape, and one count of defilement.
The case is being handled by the Criminal Investigations Department’s Sexual Offenses Unit, with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions providing independent legal advice upon completion.
