A 58-year-old security guard has been sentenced to 12 years and 11 months for raping his 11-year-old niece in December 2022.
The incident occurred in his home, where the guard groomed the victim and planned the rape.
The judge found that the guard used his authority as her elder relative and threatened her to remain silent.
He will serve 10 years, 11 months, and 28 days in prison before being eligible for parole.
