A 45-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Suva Magistrates Court today for allegedly sexually and indecently assaulting three girls.
The girls, aged 13, 14, and 16, were in Suva on ten occasions between February last year and March this year. The accused was the girls’ sporting coach.
The police have charged him with eight counts of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault.
Authorities are urging parents to be vigilant and encouraging young people to be confident in themselves and report any uncomfortable situations immediately.
