A 1-year-old boy died after a coconut tree fell on him at Davuilevu Housing.
The boy, who was with his mother, sustained head injuries.
Police are investigating parental negligence. The boy was rushed to Nakasi Health Centre, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The incident occurred outside their housing home.
